We have enhanced the login process in the Event App.
Previously, the only way to log in was with a username and password. Now, it's also possible to log in without a password using a one-time password (OTP).
To do this, we have divided the login process into two steps.
In the first step, you must enter your email:
This helps us identify who you are and check what your available login options are. These options depend on various factors, such as the events you are registered for and the settings of the platforms that host them.
In the second step, after performing said checks, we show you the available login options.
We have given the 'Agenda' module of the Digital Venue a major overhaul because the previous module had several issues.
I spent almost an hour writing about these issues and how this new redesign resolves them… but in the end, I decided to keep them to myself.
I don't want to bore you with technical details.
So, let's get straight to the point, and I'll show you what the new agenda looks like.
Firstly, you have a page where you can see the full list of sessions:
If you click on one of them, you go to a page where you can see all the information about that session:
And if the session is associated with a video streaming, a 'View Session' button appears that takes you to a new page (the streaming page).
When you activate the tax functionality, the buyer has the option to fill in their country and tax identification number.
We have developed a new feature that allows us to validate whether the tax identification number entered is correct or not.
This validation works when the buyer enters data from businesses in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
