The Digital Venue is growing day by day and, in this release, we have focused on two very important areas: attendee engagement during sessions and networking.
We are gradually rolling out the Digital Venue to our customers.
If you don’t have the Digital Venue yet or any of the following features enabled in your platform (and you want to give it a try), please contact your Project Manager.
Many organisers want to review the questions submitted by attendees before they are publicly visible to curate the content and avoid inappropriate messages.
To address this need, we have developed the ability to moderate incoming questions for the Q&A.
When an attendee submits a question, it will be pending moderation. The Organiser decides whether to approve or dismiss the question, and the rest of the attendees will only be able to see approved questions.
A small improvement for attendees: they can now sort the questions in a Q&A by "most recent" or "most popular".
When attendees join a session that has already started, they can easily catch up with the most popular questions and keep an eye on all the new ones as they come in.
You can now download a report with the questions sent by attendees during a Q&A, so you can process the data more easily afterwards.
Before you run an event, we know you want to see how everything works by testing the Q&A and deleting your questions afterwards. You can now do so with the new feature to delete all questions from the Q&A with a single click.
See the following article if you want to know more about the Questions & Answers tool:
You can now download reports from live polling so that you can validate more data after your event.
We have developed 2 types of reports:
Report with all the results: shows the number of votes received per poll option. It's simply a way of exporting the overall results.
Report with votes per attendee: shows what each attendee has voted for.
Similar to what we assumed for the Q&A, we know that you may also want to test live polling before your event. To make the testing process more viable, we have included the ability to reset polls.
When you publish a new poll, users will see a red indicator to warn them that there are polls where they have not voted yet. The indicator will disappear once they have voted.
This will spur attendees to take action and may increase the amount of votes collected in your polls.
Previously, there was a maximum limit of 50 characters for poll titles, but this number was often insufficient.
We have now extended the limit to 100 characters so that you can formulate your questions better when running polls.

Nowadays, almost everyone is active on social networks and we are used to "reacting" to videos or publications.
We have incorporated the same concept for the Digital Venue so, from now on, attendees will be able to express their mood by reacting with emojis while watching the livestreaming. 🎉
Check out more information about reactions in the following article:
Attendees will be able to perform quick and easy text searches within the global list of attendees in the Digital Venue. The text entered will be used to find matches using the first name, last name, company, or job title fields.
And very soon we will include more advanced search options. Stay tuned! 😉
When you attend a networking event, one of the most important - and tricky - things to do is finding people to connect with. If you are organising a networking event, your main goal is to create quality connections between attendees.
In order to meet these needs, we have created attendee recommendations or matchmaking.
Attendee recommendations allow you to create recommendation criteria between attendees based on their responses to your event registration form.
Attendees will see highlighted profiles of those who meet the recommendation criteria you have established—increasing the chances of finding interesting people in an automated manner.

We have created a dedicated configuration panel for the Digital Venue. From here, you can modify the branding (logo, colours) and choose which sections and features you want to display in the Digital Venue.
When an error occurred somewhere in the Digital Venue, a blank screen was displayed to the user and the page had to be refreshed to view the information again.
We have improved the error management system so that only the section that suffers from an error is rendered unusable, while the rest of the page you are viewing will still work correctly:
