Display answers to the registration form questions in each attendee's profile

There is a tab in the platform called 'Public / Private Information' that allows you to display attendees' answers to the 'Registration form' fields within their profiles.

This functionality already existed in the Attendees module of the website and the event app. It is now working on the Digital Venue as well.

Fields marked as 'public information' are visible when viewing an attendee's profile in the Digital Venue:

Accessing an attendee's profile from the meeting details

In the past, when viewing meeting information, you could not click on the participants and had to look for them manually in the attendee list. That was counterintuitive so we addressed this issue.

With this development, you will be able to click on the participants of a meeting to see their profile information more easily.

Edit the display name of a question in the ‘Attendee filters’

Attendee filters are configured based on existing questions in the 'Registration form'.

The problem is that sometimes the wording of the question needs to be different depending on whether it is answer-oriented or search-oriented.

For example, imagine that there are 2 questions in the registration form:

  • Are you looking for a job? Yes / No

  • Are you looking to hire? Yes / No

If you are looking for a job, when you register for the event you will answer:

  • Are you looking for a job? Yes

  • Are you looking to hire? No

When you access the event and check the list of attendees, the filters appear as follows:

If you are someone looking for a job, which filters would you apply?

I bet 50 million euros that you would tick: Are you looking for a job? = Yes

But by doing that, what you would find are more people who are also looking for work. And that's not what you want.

As you can see, the current behaviour of the filters can be confusing depending on the wording of the question.

To solve this problem, we are going to release a feature that allows you to change the question as they apply within the attendee filters:

Small improvements in 'Attendee filters'.

We have made some improvements to the 'Attendee filters' feature:

  • We have removed the 'Save' button, and filters are now loaded automatically.

  • When you duplicate an event with 'Attendee filters' configured, these filters are now duplicated when you check the option of duplicating the registration form questions. Previously, the filters were not duplicated.

  • When you try to add as a filter a previously-added question, we now show an error message to alert you of a duplication.

Easier language selection on the Digital Venue

When an event has multiple languages enabled, the language selection in the Digital Venue was done through a tab within the 'Account' section. This solution involved too many clicks so we decided to changed it.

It is now simpler and involves fewer clicks:

Direct access to the event dashboard from the Digital Venue

We have added a link within the 'Account' section so that you can easily access the event dashboard from the Digital Venue:

Open a new conversation from the 'My Messages' panel

Until now, there was no way to start a new conversation from the 'Messages' tab. You could only open an existing conversation.

If you wanted to send a direct message to another attendee you have never spoken to before, you were forced to go to the list of attendees, search for them, enter their profile and click the 'Send message' button.

As a user, it would be much more convenient to have a way to start a new conversation from the 'Messages' tab.

And that's exactly what we've done:
